Isidro - Reservar una mesa

It was about 6-7 weeks ago, that my wife and I had two wonderful experiences at this restaurant. Isidro was no doubt, the best restaurant we found during our 21 days trip, and the only one we ate at twice. It was great not only because of the great food and service, to those we could add lots of charming details and surprises. It is incredible how well the staff pays attention to all these details. What were those?; the Gorilla at the entrance, the flower petals at the table, the tasting of high quality olive oils, the fish bowls on our table, the blue cotton candy wrapped desserts, and the small shot of herb liquor at the end. Also, my wife was presented on our way out, with a white daisy. I also got a present, but I will keep it secret for now. We do not have enough words to express how delicious the food was. Everything, from the wine, bread, seafood, salads, soups, etc, was first class and nicely presented at the table. An additional memorable touch was the conversations and personal touch we had with the staff. With admiration, my wife has mentioned that it would be wonderful to back to Isidro at least once a month, if only we could. Isidro represents a great value. Every Euro we paid it was well worth the expense.

We had a family evening meal and it was excellent all round. We sat on the street outside and enjoyed really good service friendly and efficient. The mixed croquettes were the best we’ve enjoyed in Spain, especially the squid ink ones. The 1.5kilo top quality steak was huge and could have fed three people! Most of it was really tender just a couple of chewy bits. The ox tail was delicious and my daughter enjoyed her sea bass. Deserts covered with blue candy floss (interesting touch! were all fabulous. The decor inside is quite quirky with newspaper floor tiles and lots of bottles and statues. We had a really good evening and would def recommend.

We were in Salamanca in October and found this restaurant in online suggestions. The decor was lovely and the service was friendly, welcoming and attentive. We loved our food and had a very satisfying dinner. We were very pleased!

This restaurant is amazing. We wish we had more days to eat here again. My favorite was the el Tostón, but everything was delicious Definitely a must try!!
