For the base, I chose brown rice and spring mix. For proteins, I selected shrimp and chicken (they also have cooked octopus, but raw seafood isn’t my thing). I added some mix-ins like edamame and OG veggies, which included jalapeños and other delicious ingredients. The marinated sauces we used were Wicked Wahine and OG Sauce (I can’t remember the ingredients, but it was delicious!).
For toppings, I went with pickled ginger, scallions, mango salsa, seaweed, chili flakes, sesame seeds, and tempura crisps. I ordered two bowls via DoorDash, but there was a complete mix-up with the ingredients. They incorrectly combined the contents of both bowls and added jalapeños, which I didn’t order, making the meals inedible. Several of our ingredients were missing, the sauces were wrong for each bowl, and they switched the meats and rice as well. It felt like they confused everything between the two orders! I visited this restaurant today for lunch based on a friend's recommendation, but when I arrived, I found the lights off and the doors locked, with no notice posted. This lack of communication is disappointing and wasted my time and gas, both of which I value. I doubt I will return, especially since there are other Poké restaurants that I know are open for lunch. I checked the franchise website and noticed that Bowie is no longer listed as a location; only Annapolis is mentioned, indicating it will be "coming soon." This strongly suggests that the Bowie location is likely closed for good. It would have been beneficial for them to inform customers about this.

I really enjoy their food, but it seems that this location might be permanently closed. I placed an order on January 1, 2023, and when I went to pick it up, the store was locked and deserted. Initially, I thought it might be due to the New Year's holiday. However, when I returned on January 22, 2023, at 4 PM, it was the same situation—no one was there, and the lights were off. I've tried calling their phone number, (301) 860-1918, multiple times, but no one picks up. I recommend calling the store first before placing any online orders to avoid disappointment.
We’re from San Diego, CA, where we have high standards for poke, so I expected a lot from this place given its 4.6-star rating. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. We spent $50 on food for my husband and myself, and I really can't understand why it was so costly. The fish didn't taste fresh at all. The amount of fish didn’t compensate for its quality or flavor—it just wasn’t good. The only reason I’m giving it two stars is that the Dole ice cream was delicious, and the staff was friendly.

The staff here are exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially for first-time visitors. The food is remarkably fresh, which is quite impressive for a fast-casual chain restaurant. Additionally, the facility is very clean.
This was my first time trying poke, and it was amazing! The customer service was top-notch, and the food was delightful. It made for a quick and convenient dinner. I highly recommend it!
