The amazing smell of porkchetta greeted us today along with Carrie's, the owner, ever-welcoming presence. As always the food was delicious. I added a few slices of prosciutto to the grilled vegetable and goat cheese Panini to fulfill my salt craving. No longer vegetarian but it was over the top scrumptious. My lunchmate had the porkchetta and absolutely loved it. We both brought one home for our hubbies. Her son devoured the meatball sub. She was thrilled to find all of the special Italian cold drinks from her childhood. She immediately introduced some of her childhood traditions to her son. She will be returning with the rest of her family. Everything at this lit tle Italian Café is homemad...

This is definitely one of the best hidden gems in the Niagara Region! I've been here many times since we moved to the area and honestly every visit has been a treat! If you're looking for a casual and inexpensive spot serving classic Italian lunch dishes that are always made with love and the best ingredients, look no further.Carrie, you exceed my high expectations every time. Thanks for that! The Caprese salad was better than we've had in much more expensive restaurants, as are your antipasti plates. The cappuccinos and Torta Della Nonna were also perfect.See you again soon! ?
Spent an absolutely lovely morning visiting the Italian Cafe and Canolli Bar We had been recommended to Carrie , to experience a “ flight” of coffee. We LOVE our coffee . What fun!Sitting on the patio, breeze blowing , sipping the selection of brews, truly felt authentic. We can’t wait to come back and eat .
