Italian Village - Reserva de mesa

Awkward place to eat, no signs indicate if you're suppposed to seat yourself or just walk up to the menu. Wildly unsanitary, the roof was leaking like crazy upstairs. Food was not what you expect, okay for Carbondale, you just better make a big salad. Ended up being charged a dollar more for some reason than I was told. We ordered our pizza at 11:10 and didn’t get it until 11:50. They weren’t busy when we got there with only 3 people eating and two already had food. If they messed it up and had to remake it, I completely understand but they didn’t say sorry for it taking so long or anything. The pizza was decent but definitely didn’t have a great experience. I might give them another try but it’ll be a while before that happens.

New to town so wasn’t clear on if there was a server or where to go. There are signs for where to order though. Pizza was delicious, sodas great, and beer was perfect combo with the white pizza and pepperoni. Kids liked it. Game area as well, most machines working. I ordered the Italian Beef sandwich and I have to say this was the worst I’ve ever had. Absolutely no flavor and super dry. The bun was so stale it crumbled when I was trying to take a bite. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza that was delicious. Stay away from the Italian Beef. Reserva una mesa ahora

Sort of a hidden gem among Carbondale restaurants. Low key casual place that has been around as long as I can remember. Very good basic Italian food. Great for families and students. Check it out on the map before you leave home. Not on any major streets.
