Review of the Pembroke restaurant. Been here twice and the food was great both times, unfortunately the service is terrible.. long wait time, waiter forgot our drinks and the owner had to bring them, had to go to the bar and ask for cutlery/condiments and then 40 mins waiting for our bill (both visits! during the recent, we watched our waitress favor a larger table of six, going back to them multiple time for drinks refills etc. while never once coming back to us. Heard the couple beside us complaining about the service as well. Sadly I won’t go back because of the service alone, which is a shame because the food is amazing and the owner seems like a great person.

Absolutely awful. All of the furniture is wood, even the booths without padding. My friend and I went for what was supposed to be a Spanish night. It was advertised as food at 5; entertainment at 6. We went for 5 and were the only people there. It still took 20 minutes to get our drinks. We said when we arrived that we were there for the Spanish food, yet it took more than an hour and we had to flag down a server from another table to order. It was another hour before the food came. Not worth the wait. There was nothing Spanish about it and it was about as tasty as wallpaper paste. No spices or vegetables to be found. Don’t waste your money.

I used to love going here for some vegan treats but lately they don’t have anything clearly marked as vegan and when asking staff they have no idea if it is or not. The only time I’ve ever got a solid answer is when the owner is in. (For their baked goods doughnuts, cookies etc)Also ordered the chickpea pot pie one evening only for it to be chicken, went back got another clearly labeled chickpea pot pie and it was chicken as well. Super disappointed as this used to be one of my favourite places to go, but they need to up their knowledge and quality control regarding what’s vegan and what isn’t.

I had the chicken bacon ranch panini today, and overall it was great. The sauce was incredible, the staff was very friendly, would come here again. The only reason, for four stars is that the chicken lacked flavour and had a tough texture. The chicken was also pretty cold. Normally, I would have mentioned this to the staff, however we took the food home (very short drive), and only noticed it then.

From Ottawa had to go to Eaganville with a friend. We decided to take a drive to Pembroke and stumble upon J and E bored n' Saucy pub. Have to say amazing breakfast, atmosphere and staff. Thank you Courtney my breakfast was perfect, portions were well worth the price and your home made bread amazing. I recommend this place, great spot

Rarely do I order just one dish, I always have to order a few and take some home. Like usual things are made from scratch and have that fresh made home flavour to them that you can only get from scratch made food. Decadent is the best way to put it!

Hands down the best club ever!!!! The fresh homemade bread is soft in the middle but crispy on the outside. It's huge asandwich. It comes with a side which I chose the homemade fries . I couldn't stop eating it.

Great food (try the chicken strips). Very pleasant staff. Big portions. Pretty neat items available to take home and cook. Imagine M&Ms packaged meals but home made.
