I am not really one for leaving low reviews but we really didn't have the best time at this place. The staff were so uninterested and frankly slightly rude. Drinks ordered after waiting a good 15 mins at the bar as I don't like to use the apps. I appreciate it was busy but 2 other customers were served before me after I had arrived at the bar first and was seen by the lady on the bar. Food was typical wetherspoons food but came out slightly cold as if it had been sat waiting for a while. I did bring this up with the young man serving who just picked up the plate without saying a word and took my food away. Visited the William Owen on a 6/7/23 for a Thursday night for curry. A lovely fish, prawn and coconut curry a new addition and a nice glass of rose. Perfect. The new girl behind the bar was very engaging it was her first night and I’m sure she will do well. Downsides. Nearly every table had plates of food just left on the table. Sticky and dirty. We cleared off our table in order to sit down. This was 6.30 pm . What I did observe was that of all the waiting staff, Karla the only female was the only one who, when she delivered food, brought an armful of empty plates back with her, all the young males dumped the food down and walked back empty handed! Ok so you get what you pay for, Wetherspoons is cheap and cheerful. The staff are always pleasant. However every time we go there are always dirty tables left cluttered with previous customers glasses, mugs and plates, does nobody clear and clean tables ? i understand the place is busy but surely this is a priority! Staff are taking food orders out then walking past the dirty tables back into the kitchen empty handed. The place looks dirty and scruffy which is a shame as it’s a beautiful old building.

Just wanted something quick as only had limited time on parking, even though the pub was extremly busy we found a table and ordered our food. It came quickly and was hot and tasty. £15.50 for Panini and chips each, ping of carling and a pint of coke.. Bargain!! Reserva una mesa ahora

I was going to rant about the state of the tables but it just seems to be more of the same . I emailed weatherspoons but received a thanks for the email basically . They don’t care full stop

Called in for breakfast before driving home, sat at table which was clear, but not cleaned, service was quick, good was good and was value for money.

Poor service, poor presentation and food was standard. Cutlery wasn't wrapped just thrown on table. Wouldn't recommend Haverfordwest wetherspoons

Carmarthen. Send someone here for training. This is how witherspoons should be run. Busy and good service, good, well priced food. Keep it up

Very nice food. Had a main pudding. Would have been 5 star but the staff handed food out without cleaning the table from the previous people.
