J J's Garden - Reserva de mesa

My husband has a touchy tummy and never has he ever had an issue with the fresh food here. We stopped in for lunch a few days ago and as always,..we are met with a huge smile from the owner as she always remembers us and talks like old neighbours with us. She always recommends items to get,..or the size as the servings are very healthy. We both started with one of their amazing eggrolls which are made fresh every day. I had a combination which consisted of 2 chicken wings, 3 chicken balls and chicken fried rice. My husband had the Chicken Lo Mein, batter fried shrimps and Chicken balls as well. My husband said he needed to go to Parry Sound for something and I told him, "only under one condition, that we go to JJ's Garden for either lunch or take out for later." We live a fair distance away from Parry Sound but we ALWAYS go to JJ's whenever we are in town. I waited a long time for this visit,...and we are NEVER disappointed. I ordered 2 of their daily specials, garlic ribs with 2 spring rolls and either rice or a noodle side dish,..so we got one of each. We also got an order of beef with vegetables, a small won ton soup and 6 egg rolls. We could not wait to get home so we had an egg roll in the car in the parking lot. Traveling through town for the night and ordered to have in my hotel. Ordered wonton soup (did not get dry noodles with it,) vegetable lo mein. tasteless and deep fried shrimp. So much batter on the shrimp I could not taste it. When removed the coating the shrimp were not cleaned. My meal was over $30 and I threw it all out except for the soup! Will never go there again.

I can't believe I went off route to have lunch at this place (I was looking for a Chinese restaurant and this was the closest.) The food was awful and the two women there were rude! I have no idea how these folks are still in business in this nice little town of Parry Sound. Reserva una mesa ahora

Ordered the Dinner for Three, 38$ - very disappointed! Tasteless rice, sweet n sour pork was incredibly tough and tasted like vinegar, beef n vegetables as well had no flavor! A waste of MONEY! threw it out!

Ordered Wonton Soup for take out. Was made and ready to go for my specified time. Staff was friendly and efficient. The restaurant could use some updating. The soup was good. Will go back to try more items.

Good food,' great service, -- variety of Chinese food yet offer Canadian dishes as well. Feel very welcome but lacks in atmosphere which is often the case in Chinese restaurants.,
