If you are just looking for a place to sit at the bar, have a few drinks, and watch the Blues game, then this is a great spot. However, if you are expecting more from a restaurant in terms of food quality, you may want to consider another option. The burger was decent, but clearly pre-made and not handcrafted. The bacon was a bit tough. However, the biggest disappointment for me was the fries. I prefer real fries made from cut-up pieces of potato, not some strange hybrid between a curly fry and a potato wedge. It's a mini sportsbar with the dishes to compliment it! Run by guys who celebrate ALL THINGS Sports. It's very clean and welcoming. The cooks cook to please and this is my 2nd trip to this establishment. I must say all of the dishes have been excellent from the fried pickles to the brisket chili JP Fields is that place you go to when you don't want to cook and you want a hearty meal and a drink! The bartender Brian was extremely unprofessional and when he made a mistake and pocketed money when I wanted change back replied well tell your manager over there no to send “fu@&ing retards” to pick up her food. Excuse me? Are you kidding me? Small sports bar. Easy access off of manchester. Took a bit to get acknowledged but once we greeted it was great service. Felt price and proportions were good. Homemade chips were great. Club sandwich had real thick turkey breast- not lunch meat slices. Cheese curds were good. Teen said it was the best grilled cheese ever-she likes fancy . I am thrilled that Brian is no longer working at this restaurant! I give it 5 stars because the owner was incredibly nice. The Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad was absolutely delicious, especially the fresh, homemade croutons. It practically melted in my mouth! I will definitely be returning in the future, as I have yet to find something on the menu that I didn't enjoy.
Yesterday, my colleagues and I ordered takeout for lunch. Two of us ordered the cod platter and we both thought it was awful. The fish was extremely dry, so much so that I threw it away. I had heard great things about this restaurant, but I would not order from them again and I would not recommend them to anyone. I was very disappointed.
