Jack Russell's Steak House Brewery

Going on vacation and finding a good place to eat is never easy. Add to 3 children and the task is even harder. Happy for us; our hotel was directly opposite Jack Russell's. After reviewing the menu; we all decided on some Chicken Parmigiano, Teriyaki Steak Tips Scallops and Maine Fresh Cut Fries. The food Ahhhmazing!! From the perfectly baked chicken with the crisp ends to the melt in the mouth of scallops to the frits that beat out all the frits I've ever had. In the free dessert add a brownie with chocolate bites that when heated, an additional layer of ooey gooey yumminess and we were in the food sky. We found this restaurant because there are 2 doors from the Acadia Inn that we were. It's a little restaurant. Our hosts and servers were friendly and pleasant. Although there is a steakhouse, there are many seafood entries on the menu. I choose the lazy lobster that was delicious, and my wife had the ribbed eye that was both big and cooked to her taste. It was delicious when I had to help her finish it. The beer they brew was very good. I tried all four. The blueberry was light and refreshing. The fall and the brown ale were both full-bodied and tasty. The pale ale was good, but I'm not a lover of hoppy beer. My aunt recommended that we are here for the lobster and we were not disappointed! My mother and I had the crabcake appetizer and the lobster, both were fantastic! Definitely the best crab cake I've ever had and great first experience with lobster. Our waiter was great, he even gave us a list of places on the island to visit and showed us how to crack the lobster!

We stoppped in after a day of hiking at Acadia National Park. The staff was very friendly. The server was very busy, but was quick with our drinks and taking our order. The food was fabulous. Steaks were cooked as we requested. Portions were large. Beer was delicious. The desert was outstanding. Overall, great dining experience!!!

Friendly and attentive staff. Welcomes as soon as we came in, Filet was amazing and Krabbe had filleddock just as good!!! Some great people from Philadelphia. So it happened that Boston and Philadelphia were on TV. Celtics won! Watch the Kentucky Derby and enjoyed some mint juleps. Would definitely recommend!!!
