Jack Russell's Steakhouse Brew Pub

we had no positive experience in jack russell brew pub in bar harbor. the prizes were relatiw high and that's exactly how they eat. we had long waited to get our food, and then it was forty minutes before we got our main enticements after we finished our appetizers. my friend is out of the opposite and was there for the pub, but no more eating. she had previously ordered her crabcakes and recommended them. we have discussed that I don't like black crab cake and she said they weren't at all. on this basis I ordered them, but when they came, they were pretty black. my friend said she had never seen her like that before. then I sent her back. the waitress then returned with them and said the cook said to take them back to the table as nothing is wrong with them! I related that my friend said that she looked a lot different from what she had there, and that I can't eat dimmed food. this led to a series of somewhat confrontational visits by restaurant manager and cook. I guess they have never heard of the customer, is always correct. I don't think so.
