Jack's Fish And Chips

We ordered Plaice which was dry (even though freshly cooked) and excessive blackened skin under it, sausage in Batter which was dry and looked like it had been there all day, tasteless. The chips were dry and also seemed to have been around for several hours. This is our nearest Fish and Chip shop. We will not be back.

working a sunday nightshift and needed some food never tried this fish and chip shop although heard good reviews and i have got to say absolutely brilliant ordered a large cod and it was a large cod and small chips but more like large portion tasted absoluely beautiful and cant wait to go back again

Went here tonight and absolutely loved it. I had my laptop out initially as I had to crack on with some work and there was no pressure at all. When I did order, I got large cod, chips, mushy peas and curry sauce with 2 slices of bread and butter. It was truly stunning and I will absolutely be back!

Excellent take away food! We ordered via Uber Eats, but were delighted with what we received . Personally I have always ordered fish from fish and chip shops (minus the batter as I prefer ‘naked’ and was so pleased that I could order ‘grilled’! Portions were generous.. very happy customers .

We love eating here on a Friday evening. The restaurant is usually busy but does not affect the service. The food is always served fresh. Highly recommend.
