Impressive menu.Good beer selections.Friendly staff.Clean restaurant.Unfortunately I had bad luck with the Shepherd's Pie; it was very over seasoned with rosemary; and I like rosemary, but this was overkill...more isn't better. that is my only complaint with this place.Sadly I could only eat half, the other half was for the garbage. But, If you love rosemary, this is for you. ?The Steak Ale Pie was delicious!The fried banger on a stick onion rings were tasty appetizers!Something for everyone!Give them a try!

This place is really cute. We went here a while back and the fish and chips is perfect. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was they forgot about us twice, once when we put our name in and then again after we were seated. Seemed like they were really understaffed at the time so hopefully they have worked that out.Food: 5/5

Great atmosphere and amazing food. My wife said the fish and chips is the best she has had. The breading on the fish was crispy but not overly oily, like it is at many restaurants. We also tried the steak ale pie and the lamb beef stew. Both were delicious.Food: 5/5

We had the best fish and chips ever. Every one had a lovely meal. Staff very friendly and helpful. Certainly recommend to others who want an authentic British taste.

Nice local fare. waitress was efficient and attentive food was good atmosphere ok. Little Dates but guess it fits to intended vibe
