Jacks Old Fashion Hamburgers

Worst customer service, at least at the Oakland Park location. Watched nearly 24 people order, get their food and many finished before I got my order which was a burger and fries. Not sure why they didn’t figure out there was a problem when they kept shuffling my beverage and order receipt around the counter to accommodate more recent orders. My inquiry didn’t help as the girl looked at me with glossed over eyes, just said something to the kids in the back cooking and she left. Another several orders were being handed over with no further acknowledgment until I brought it up to another person. Finally I complained and said they shouldn’t take another order until they fill mine. It finally came with a “eh, sorry” a little rude for losing an order and inconvenience to the customer who pretty much es witnessed numerous people order, eat and leave while I stood around waiting. Then I get cold fries and a greasy burger. This would be a must pass by.

Jack's Old Fashioned Hamburgers has been in business for decades in Fort Lauderdale. After eating there, I cannot understand how it has stayed in business for such a long time. The cheeseburger was a GREASY MESS! There was grease oozing from the hamburger patty and running down my hands as I was holding it. The bun was rapidly disintegrating in my hands. I had to pick up extra napkins during my meal. When I had eaten half of the cheeseburger, I had to stop because I began feeling nauseous. After several minutes I attempted to finish eating the burger. No luck. Every swallow triggered the gagging reflex. Avoiding the risk of vomiting there inside the restaurant, I surrendered and departed. I like moist hamburgers NOT greasy meat sponges! I will certainly NOT return to Jack's Old Fashioned Hamburgers for an encore in self mutilation!

Been going to Jacks for years just never thought about writing it up A consistent cooked perfectly tasting burger every time I go there. It's an old fashioned hamburger joint fairly priced always takes less than five minutes to prepare and alwats order the fried a medium order fills tow people and a coke zero. No disappoints at Jacks

I have been going to Jacks for years.The last two times the burgers were tasteless the friesWere only warm and also tasteless.There appears to be no one in charge just a. Bunch of young adults that. Are disinterested in service. This saddens me it. Used to be a go to place for a great burger and fries.
