I have had such a good experience here it has compelled me to post a review! Just popped in for a simple lunch with my two kids, squid was lovely fresh and tender, excellent crunchy chips and loads of condiments served with both my kind of place! But most of all, the service I received from Thomas was outstanding. He was warm and friendly, and went over and above with his service. From making chit chat with my little ones, ferrying us over drink options for them to see, and even distributing a lollypop post meal! Great service, very much appreciated.
The dining room is impressively spacious and provides a comfortable atmosphere whether you're just walking through or settling down for a meal. The menu offers some fantastic food that never disappoints. The gaming room is also quite large and never too noisy, creating a great environment. However, what truly sets this place apart is the outstanding staff, who provide first-class service and are genuinely friendly, making you feel like a valued guest every time you visit. BarZarr is brilliant!
If you don't have a reservation, expect to be treated poorly. When we arrived, half the menu was unavailable, and it seemed like only certain customers received proper service. In reality, all customers deserve equal treatment. The server informed us that there was no chicken schnitzel available, even though it was listed on the menu she prepared. Additionally, the food appeared to be store-bought from Woolworths or Coles. I won’t be returning to this restaurant. Service: Dine-in.
double blue social club . excellent eating. great staff. one I found fascinating, was the story of jack 's. apparently the name of an absolute legendary. I wish I knew more about the story. super happy that the club supports other amateur clubs from the opposite. the headwoman sue seemed fabulous. what a great vision for the community. so if they want to support a feed or a pick-up head after jack's on unley and the club's mother club.

When we provided this feedback, as requested, the chef responded with defensive annoyance. I found it amusing, as constructive criticism should not be seen as an insult, especially when it is asked for. It left me wondering why a professional would choose to dismiss genuine and kindly offered feedback instead of taking it on board in hopes that we might return.
Been coming here over the last few months for Wednesday schnitty night. Whilst the food is nothing spectacular definitely good value for the price, not to mention the happy hour. In fact, I think this might be one of the only happy hours with $5 pints in Adelaide … and I hope they keep it this way ; . Will continue coming back 5/5
We came to Jacks at Unley last Saturday night, the staff and food was exceptional, thankyou for making a 60th birthday celebration memorable. The pork belly was disappointing; the rice seemed either microwaved or improperly prepared. If they are serving an Asian dish, they should at least provide chopsticks. Overall, I would rate the food a 2, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4.

Our social club has enjoyed this facility for three consecutive years, and I highly recommend it! The food is excellent, the service is outstanding, and the prices are very reasonable.
It was my first time dining there, and I absolutely loved it. It's the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a long day.
