Jack's Place - Reservar una mesa

Stopped by in the late afternoon for an early dinner and ordered an Italian. The order was ready for pickup when I arrived 15 mins later. Service was friendly and without fuss. The storefront is unpretentious and what you would expect of a neighborhood deli. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the hoagie was served on a seeded roll (other places charge a premium for such requests). The small hoagie was flavorful and satisfying. Slices of meat blanketed with Romain, red onions, and accented withwhat seems to be an olive feta cheese spread (nice touch). Definitely will be coming back soon to try out the more premium selections. Small Original Italian, large bag of Herrs, can of Pepsi $10.

Jack's hoagies taste INFINITELY better than Fink's or almost anyone else's. Their deli meat, cheese, spread, and other ingredients are top notch. Their Original Italian is DELICIOUS but some of their other hoagies are also tasty, as are their cheesesteaks, sausage sandwiches, fries, and just about everything else. The joint is very clean and the staff is quick, polite, and efficient. Despite their obvious superiority, Jack's prices are highly competitive. Why settle for a Hyundai when you can have a Rolls-Royce for the same price?

Love Jack’s! Used to live 40 ft from them and miss the convenience of having such a great hoagie place close by. Probably my favorite hoagie spot in Philly. Worth the drive out Northeast if you’re in center city/south Philly. Lots of choices and everything I’ve ever had was great. I did notice last time that they changed their fries which was a little disappointing since I loved the steak fries they used to use.

It was my first time there. Heard so much about it and was not disappointed !!!! The best hoagies. Staff was so friendly and the cream cheese cookies were delicious. Thank yiu. I will definitely be returning.
