I truly don’t mind waiting, but calling twice and hearing, “I’m just wrapping up a call,” gives the impression that the wait will be brief. If there's a 45-minute delay just to place an order, that should be communicated upfront rather than the vague promise of being helped shortly. It feels unprofessional, especially since I didn’t even receive an acknowledgment of my wait, like a simple "thank you for your patience, just a few more minutes."
If there's an order genuinely taking over 45 minutes, they should consider putting others on hold for just a minute to accommodate regular customers who may only take a moment. Honestly, as I write this, I’m still waiting on hold, just curious to see...
The Won Ton soup was quite good, but the spring rolls were reminiscent of a Totino's pizza roll, with a strange texture and somewhat undercooked in the middle. As for the Pad Thai, that was a mistake—I probably shouldn’t have ordered a Thai dish. It was overly wet and had what they passed off as chicken, which consisted of tiny, nearly microscopic pieces that reminded me of cat food. There were no sprouts or peanuts, which was really disappointing. Overall, it was barely edible and definitely not enjoyable. The one bright spot was our server, Alva. She was fantastic—a true superstar. I would consider returning just for her and the soup, but everyone has their own preferences.
OMGGG!!!! What can I say about this Resturant. We’re not from CT and happened to come upon this place late at night. It was AMAAZINGGGG!!! The variety of Asian foods and the QUALITY of the food itself were so delicious ! We each ordered a different Asian dish from a different region and each one was cooked so expertly well! The drinks were nicely balanced and so pretty in presentation ! The decor was so tastefully done. It had a nice intimate feel to it yet it was modern. And to top it all off the staff were so polite and welcoming When I come back to CT, I’ll definitely be coming here again!
The staff at Jade Garden is friendly, professional, and efficient. Our take out order was 100% packaged neatly and accurate. Our meal was hot and positively delicious. Prices are decent, food is very good. The lo mein is awesome, along with any of the tempura items! Gen two excellent. We have dined in and had take out and never had a meal that was not delicious! A little out of the way, and not delivery, but certainly worth the trip!
Spring rolls were crispy with a very tasty filling. Crab rangoons were light and delicious. Fried rice was some of the best I’ve ever had. Garlic combination (chicken, beef, shrimp) was amazing with lots of veggies. Lo mein was also terrific with lots of veggies.
I have eaten at this restaurant many times and have rarely experienced any issues with takeout. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. It’s well-seasoned, and I’ve consistently enjoyed my meals. Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit.
Small, clean, quiet place. The food was very good and service was fast.
