the hotel jägerhof is a family-run restaurant, which also rents some rooms. there is no reception and no hotel entrance in the actual sense. on my demand at the theke after the reception was asked for my name and it was given to me the room key (no magnet card) and I should go to the back entrance where I would find the access to the rooms. the restaurant makes a nice cozy impression. the rustic equipment I felt as very successful and fitting. Not everything perfect, but very friendly and basically really good. I felt the smell of cleaning agents and the flickering light in the hallway. Breakfast was OK and sufficient, also with agitator on request. Room was clean, but soap dispenser didn't work. Warm showers did not leave at 10:00 (was a work stay) In the morning the shower was hot. That's why I'm staying at 3 stars.
We just moved to Kerpen and are happy to have such a good restaurant nearby. Very delicious food, very good service and at reasonable prices. In particular, I would like to emphasise child-friendliness. We like to come back.
