This friendly, casual restaurant is a short tram ride from the old center of Basel. Good selection of tasty traditional Swiss specialities, prepared with care and served by friendly staff. I loved the winter special beef Stroganoff with spetzli, with a good glass of Christmas beer. Apparently the cordon bleu is also a house speciality: next time!

Solid Swiss restaurant. Unfortunately we asked for tap water and we were brought bottled water and charged 9.50 francs.

I recommend Chrüter Cordon Bleu also awesome that the supement of veggies is for free
