Decided to celebrate our four years here late (sat was booked out). The tables were tightly packed so I found it uncomfortable getting in and out of the seat.
The Otoro nigiri was amazing - it was what I expected from watching anime. It was smooth, delicate and what I loved the most tonight. Overall the sashimi was super fresh and delicious.
The wagyu tataki had really nice ponzu sauce which had accompanied with the wagyu. The wagyu was chewy - wished it was more tender.
The soft shell crab roll was nothing special. The wait to get this, was terrible especially seeing the other people who ordered after us get their meals completely.

Will definitely be back! Absolutely enjoyed my time at James Parker. Service was prompt & waiters were lovely & helpful in helping pick out popular dishes. Absolutely loved the aburi & the cold udon. Will come back and try the sashimi. Price point is more than reasonable for the quality & serving size. Would recommend
Food came out really quickly. The sashimi was really fresh. Tataki with ponzu sauce/jelly was another highlight. Free refills on the hot Japanese tea was a nice bonus. 5 dishes for $116. Not too bad for the quality! Lots of Japanese customers too so that's always a good sign.
