My dear friend Carmen Gonzales, who sadly passed away in August 2022, dined at this restaurant in 2021 and raved about it being the best soul food place she had ever visited. She also recommended Jameson's to me. After driving 51 minutes from my own town to try it out, I can confidently say that this is indeed the best soul food restaurant I have ever experienced. Carmen was right! The food was absolutely delicious, with the fried chicken and macaroni and cheese being standout dishes. The staff at Jameson's are incredibly friendly and provide excellent customer service. I will definitely be returning as a regular customer.
This restaurant is incredible. The chicken here is the best I have ever tasted - juicy and cooked perfectly. The ribs, sides, everything is fantastic. Bob, the owner, is an ex-marine and a wonderful person, one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. I thanked him for his service, and he even introduced me to a fellow marine and friend of his who was dining there at the time. Bob is 75 years old, but he doesn't look a day over 50. This was my first visit, but I will definitely be a regular now. I loved both Bob and the food he serves - true comfort food. I give this place 5 stars all the way!
Everything at this restaurant is absolutely amazing and delicious. I highly recommend the catfish and shrimp combo with collard greens and rice topped with gravy. The dishes were perfectly spiced and cooked, and the overall presentation was exceptional. The owner and staff were friendly and the atmosphere was spectacular. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by and try their amazing food. I have had a lot of seafood in my life, but nothing compares to the food at this restaurant. Thank you to Jameson for the great meal and for continuing to serve such delicious dishes.
Today is Sunday, April 24th, 2022, at around 4:35 p.m. I called the restaurant to inquire about their closing time. A rude woman answered the phone and replied that they shut their fryers down at 6:30. I thanked her and she added that they take their last seating at 5:30. I was taken aback by her negative attitude and lack of professionalism. Due to this poor customer service experience, I have decided not to visit the restaurant. Reserva una mesa ahora
This restaurant serves classic comfort food! The owner is very friendly. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy and delicious. The gravy is full of flavor. Don't forget to try something with Jameson's BBQ sauce. The sides are generous and packed with great flavors. You can't go wrong dining at this place.
