Not much to say: perfect service, perfect food, quickly on the table, normal bill.Authentic Japanese food (trust me, I know a bit about this)Real Japanese staff, nice and helpful (not Koreans pretending to be Japanese).Rice was well cooked (a bit dry to my taste) but one step above the average rice served on Japanese restaurants.The menu is simple, serving fresh ingredients. There is a nice variety of vegetarian dishes (tried 3 vegetarian entrées: nice and different from what we usually get).I tried the cold in-house sake, excellent choice.Had sukiyaki pot, simply delicious although the meat was a bit too tough. A group of seven of us visited Japs Table (less than a ten minute walk from Redfern Station) for dinner on a balmy Sydney evening.We didn't have a booking so were lucky enough to find an outside table to accommodate us that was just being vacated when we arrived.It was wonderful to sit near the street and people watch .The Donboro (rice bowl) dishes were very popular amongst us,sashimi was fresh, tender and well prepared teriyaki chicken and an authentic Japanese Curry was delicious. They also cater well to vegetarian requirements.The service and the staff here are delightful as an added bonus,highly recommended. !

I went for dinner and had salmon sushi and the BBQ Eel Donburi. I'm spoiled because of the amazing Japanese food we have in my home town of Vancouver and this wasn't up to that standard. The sushi consisted of a large block of rice with a thin layer of salmon on it. In Vancouver, the salmon is sliced at least 1/2" thick and isn't just a thin layer of fish on rice. The two things are about equal - as good sushi should be. The fish wasn't as fresh as was I'm used to either. The Donburi was OK but could hardly taste the BBQ Eel. Service was excellent.

We regularly visit japs table for lunch and really enjoy coming here.The value for money is fantastic, they do lunch special value boxes for around $15 which gives you a ramen noodle dish with another rice dish of your choice some of the highlights include Japanese curry, pork and rice or katsu and rice. They even throw in a Miso soup!The service is really fast, the food comes out fast! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone in the area who wants a quick cheap eat! Eaten here many times. Bit of a BBQ / grille taste to most of the meats which I like, so all good. Decor a bit daggy but the food makes up for it. The eggplant main dish is greatCan get quite busy at times. Not huge servings but you shouldn't leave hungry. Will definitely frequent again (& again).

I quite enjoyed a dinner in this very small japanese restaurant. Sushimi was fresh and very good and other plates were also tasty. Very affordable and reasonably quick services. I would go back again

I eat here once a week. The menu is small but very good quality and value. Agadashi is superb, and they also offer great combo meals which are very filling. Delicious.

Average sushi in my opinionRice was dense and had no flavor, cuts of fish weren't much better than your standard takeaway sushi rolls.

I ate the Yokohama RamenIt was brilliantThe stock was super rich. It was a flavour explosion with no survivors.
