Customer service was unfriendly poor. One order did not even show up until we had to call her to get it. My meal was not too bad but 2 others did not even finish their meals. My wife and I had a hankering for Indian food,but where to go? Have driven past Jaspaul for 30 years , so thought we would give it a go. Small space, old decor but clean, not many people . Food was excellent, nice clean flavours....Pakoras, madras curry,chicken biryani was particularly delicious,four sambals and naan bread, $50 plus tip. I have some trepidation in writing this review as I may be spreading the word and therefore making this restaurant busy and noisy. One of its charms is that you can actually hear yourself think, what restaurant have you been to lately that you can say that!
we went to dinner and were the only ones in the restaurant. he waited for the waiter and gave us menus and pappadams, but no greetings and then disappeared into the kitchen and did not disappear again to take our commands. another employee stood up, but there was nothing. no contact after at least 15 minutes, so the money on the theke for papadams and left. a bit like fawlty towers!
This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is always fresh and perfectly seasoned. I have been here about five times now, and it is definitely one of the best restaurants I have been to. The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is delicious, the staff is exceptionally friendly, and the prices are fantastic. Do yourself a favor and give it a try - you won't be disappointed.

The food was absolutely fantastic. The BBQ prawns was lightly flavoured and was a great starter with the white wine. We also had the lamb cutlets which was fabulous. The naan was the authentic and went well with chicken vindaloo and Kashmiri rice. We are definitely going back to try out the other items on the menu. Loved it.
Great little restaurant friendly hosts fabulous fresh food generous servings and very reasonable prices BYO I am becoming a regular at this restaurant because it such good value and more importantly I love the Entrees
Ordered lamb rogan josh. Lamb was still cold. If you like nice Indian food find somewhere else!!! Owners didn't even ask how my meal was even though I had eaten less than half.
My first time at this restaurant was delicious with tasty food and a clean environment. I highly recommend it to everyone.
