Not impressed. Wanted to get 3 tacos rice and beans, asked if they could do different kinds of tacos but they said no which is totally fine. Got the al pastor. But there was lettuce and tomatoes in my tacos.. I wasn't asked whether I would like that or onions and cilantro, so I assumed it would be the latter.. that sucks. the al pastor tacos themselves were underwhelming, even setting aside the lettuce and tomatoes..Palettas were great, but plenty of other places for that. The staff here are extremely friendly, and the service is quick. The food is both delicious and authentic. The churros for dessert are particularly tasty. Please note that this is not a sit-down restaurant; it’s only for pick-up and takeout. The prices are affordable, and the portions are generous. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place!
My favorite tacos in the suburbs. The chicken is crispy on the outside but tender and juicy in the middle. The tortillas taste homemade because they’re really soft and fresh. You can get the tacos traditional with cilantro and onions or American style with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. Definitely give Javi’s a try.
I've visited this restaurant several times, and it's always quick and convenient. I've tried at least three different types of their burritos, and all of them have been good. However, I dislike that the ingredients tend to spill out from the bottom of the burrito.

Although it’s strictly a takeout restaurant, Javi is an excellent spot for lunch or dinner. It's a family-owned establishment located just steps away from our business. Be sure to try the grilled fish topped with avocado slices!
I absolutely adore this place every time I go. The staff is fantastic, the food is tasty, and it's genuinely a hidden gem. Just a quick note—please don’t attempt to order this for my wedding dinner!

Really good tacos. Small place no inside dining, but they have a table out front if needed. Worth stopping by for a quick meal
