Really disappointed due to a number of issues, but mostly due to bad management. Waited to be seated, and was told approximately 15 mins for an order. It took nearly 30 minutes for an order of two drinks! Poor adherence to COVID rules, once inside many people walking around with no masks on, even talking to staff and approaching the bar. when manageress asked about this she basically said if we didn’t like it we could leave!! Not sure I want to return to a premises that basically allows the manageress to have carte Blanche over which rules she decides to enforce and which to ignore, not what you would expect from such a well known business chain
I have dined at this restaurant twice and both times I ordered the steak chips with extra chicken. I found the food to be similar to other Wetherspoons, but the service was quite good. I never had to wait long for my food, and a waitress was actively clearing and cleaning tables, which is rare in busy restaurants. Would I dine here again? Yes, I would.
The restaurant has a foul odor and the staff are lazy and inattentive. I will not be returning for food as my past experiences included greasy tables covered in food remnants and dirty dishes. Outside, there is a large pile of garbage against the walls, including scrap pallets with nails sticking out that have been there for weeks.
This Wetherspoons restaurant is pretty standard, with some tables left messy and a bit of a wait at the bar. However, the staff here are extremely friendly and hardworking. The table service was quick and the food was decent. The shift leader, Dave, deserves a special mention as he is fantastic and a great asset to the company.

Me and my mates were watching the snooker and the final frame of the match a waitress called Chloe turned it off knowing we were watching. We asked her to keep it on and claimed it weren’t her problem. Me and my friends were speechless as to the complete lack of respect show to us. Absolutely fuming
Having drinks with friends on fri sat at a table we all talking a certain member of staff took it upon herself to interrupt the conversation and started giving abuse to everyone. This is not the first time I have witnessed her being aggressive towards customers she is totally in the wrong job
Lovely experience out with my girlfriend. Exceptional service from Callum! I could tell he was new and a bit nervous but such a great attitude and work ethic. However, I would like to commend the rest of the staff on their standard of service. I would definitely visit again
What a flag ship role model for other Wetherspoons, A lovely warm welcome from Michelle. Quick service and clean and cheerful premises. We will certainly visit again. Well done to all staff on site and thank you.
