Jensen Botanical Garden

This is a beautifully maintained area with excellent walking paths, making it ideal for creative photography, birdwatching, and simply enjoying the great outdoors. I took a quick stroll around the grounds this morning to get a sense of the place, and I'm definitely planning to return. I suggest arriving early to fully appreciate the stunning scenery, as parking appeared to be quite limited and it likely gets crowded later. I visited around 9:30 AM on a Sunday and found that there weren't many people there yet.

Lovely in spring. Not super extensive but a nice place to stop in for a bit. Tulips and camelias are in bloom. No formal restroom but there is a pieta potty. Lots of benches but no picnic tables. Connects through the grassy olive orchard park to the community garden. Gates were closed when listed as open but I drove around to community garden entrance. Gets muddy after a rain.

This lovely park is conveniently located just off a busy road, so you might miss it if you’re not careful. I visited in the spring when the flowers were just beginning to bloom, making it a fantastic spot for photography and peaceful strolls. The views are stunning, making it an ideal location for proposals or prom pictures!

Nice place to walk around with lots of trees, plants, and flowers. A few picnic benches near the entry area. Lots of benches scattered around everywhere. Everything is very well maintained. Didn’t see a bathroom, but there’s a porta potty in the parking lot. Had a great time walking the dog here. Reserva una mesa ahora

Jensen Botanical Garden is a small, quiet place to view nature. There is a nice paved walk that goes from the Fair Oaks Blvd. side of the garden to the community gardens on Sutter Avenue with benches to take in the scenery or just a place to gather your thoughts.

Charming garden located in the heart of Carmichael-Fair Oaks. The only downside was the noise from traffic, but overall it was a wonderful experience. The flora was beautiful and clearly marked along an easy trail.

What an incredibly lovely place. You can feel the energy of Mr. Jensen’s original intention for the garden, along with the folks over the decades who have kept that intention alive and flourishing.

Beautiful place to look at flowers. There are many in bloom right now. Great place to meet for lunch or a picnic. There is also a trail that leads to a larger garden. Love it here! Reserva una mesa ahora

Small botanical garden but very cute. It was a good escape from the city. Nice way to be in nature.
