It’s so sad that Jamaican restaurants seem to be in competition to see who can have the nastiest attitude! I simply asked the girl that took my order if the chicken was made on a grill or in the oven she literally paused.. took a breath said it was made on the grill. Now I got to my car in my hands is oven jerked chicken lol. It’s the attitude the fact that she lied like I wouldn’t find out... the food wasn’t bad... but I prefer my jerk chicken grilled! So for the lying the bad attitude they’re getting 1 star. Fuq’dem.
I requested the jerk sauce on the side for my jerk pork and jerk chicken, and the woman informed me that there would be an additional charge for that. I agreed to pay the extra fee, but when I got home to Jamaica Estates, there was no sauce included at all, despite my order being from a restaurant in Elmont. I drove from my office in Manhasset to pick this up, and I'm really disappointed to find both meats dry and without any sauce. I could hardly taste the jerk flavor in the chicken at all! This was a $47 letdown.
Great food, they dont answer phone. I called to order food, no answer, I get there place order in person and call them again. I watched as non of them answer the phone even when the place is empty. I watch them all talking and having a good time with each other and the customer...(I support their that, they are good people, very helpful and polite). Just please...pick up the phone
I ordered the large jerk chicken, but it arrived overcooked and very tough. The goat dish had a lot of gristle and bone, with very little meat. My family and I were really disappointed by this experience!

Believing you're charming doesn't help customers who are simply looking for a meal. The rude attitude towards those who are just there to eat, rather than to flatter the staff, is quite off-putting.
This place serve the most amazing Jamaican recipe.... The food is amazing .... Especially the ox-tail rice- -peas .. (with the fried planting on the side LOVE IT!!
Here is jerk salmon, Mac cheese,plantain and steam vegetables. All of it was full of flavor but the jerk salmon was especially spicy. This place is very nice.
My family and I eat here at least once a week. The food is always fresh and delicious. The place is nice and clean, and the staff is very friendly.
