I went and did the buffet option. It was a little weird because the person at the counter gets a plate and you have to point and pick what you want. Then you go over to a table and eat. If you want more you have get back in line with other customers who might be getting takeout and sometimes it could be a little wait time. Most of the food was good but stay away from the spring roll and lo mein those were the worse. The female server is very friendly, the guy not as much. But overall a good place to stop and grab lunch or dinner.
The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The food was incredibly delicious, but I do miss the self-service aspect of a traditional buffet. I highly recommend this place for takeout, but I wouldn't suggest it for the self-service buffet. I can imagine it could get hectic if it's busy, especially with only one cashier handling everything—cashing, serving, and more.
I’m having a ball here at Jersey gourmet in East Orange 560 Main St. the food is delicious. The service is a plus please check it out. You won’t regret it tell your friends they’re the best kept secret in East Orange.
Great for the price. Won't wow with anything but, you can eat to the full for a decent price. Don't know if it is always like this but it was quiet while we ate.

The food was stale and tough. I usually enjoy dining here, but this time I was disappointed with my order. The food did not meet my expectations at all.
The food was awful—cold and overpriced. The person at the counter was rude, which made me even more upset. I will never come back.
It was a rainy and gloomy day, and the place was not very crowded. Normally, it's packed with customers.
This is the perfect place, especially if you're looking for quick and delicious food!
