The bread for each sandwich is simply sliced and left on a stainless steel countertop, rather than being placed on a paper wrapper right away. It only gets wrapped in paper after the sandwich is fully assembled. Unfortunately, the countertop was covered with leftover meat and vegetable debris from previous orders, and the bread just sat there receiving all that contamination.
Additionally, the meat and cheese, or just cheese for vegetarian orders, are cut directly onto the bread using the same slicer, so vegetarians should be cautious. This was my first and last visit to the restaurant. I ordered what I thought would be a foot-long sandwich, but it was only about 8 inches. The bread was dry, flaky, and tasted nearly stale. I had requested only ketchup on my roast beef, without any other toppings, but the amount of ketchup the staff member applied was incredibly sparse—just a few drops that soaked into the bread and were hardly noticeable. Went for the first time to Jersey mikes with my boyfriend the other night. Food tasted fine nothing seemed wrong, staff were nice and quick.Unfortunelty, after I went to work night shift I got sick I didn’t think much of it, felt fine immediately after.I saved half my sandwich’s for today lunch… same with my bf… after eating it I got sick again.I got home and asked my boyfriend if he was sick at all and we compared stories. The bread was long lol but little meat for 1750 kinda can't see why someone would pay that price?? Would have to be new Yorkers cuz they really drove up or prices on everything but I gave a 2 cuz it tasted ok and fresh but if you made it yourself you can but 2 lbs roast beef 6 rolls and toppings for less then 1750 and.there like subway little meat and chez it a salad sandwich up st try l&m deli 10.00 for a better subs

I just visited about 30 minutes ago and ordered a giant sandwich. While the bread is indeed large, the amount of meat is disappointing—there's hardly any roast beef or turkey in it. It seems like this Jersey Mike's is cutting corners by putting less meat and cheese while still charging the same price. For $24, including a giant sandwich and a drink, I'm really surprised at how little meat there is!
I just got two sandwiches from this place, and they were amazing! Honestly, so delicious. One of the employees seemed to get into a little quarrel with another for no apparent reason, which was a bit odd, but I can't emphasize enough how fantastic the sandwiches were. Plus, they even added extra pickles on the side!
Fast and fresh. I don't know what those other quick sub shops are scooping out of their mystery meat bins, but at JM's, they slice the meat off the loaf like, jeez, an actual deli. If you're buying your quick sandwiches at any other joint in town, you're doing it wrong.
