I am a loyal customer of Red Ribbon in Bergenfield and take pride in the Filipino food they offer. However, this time, I was extremely frustrated. I mistakenly placed my order on their website, where there's an option for both pickup and delivery. I immediately called five times, with about ten minutes between each call, but no one answered. A man eventually called me at 4:30 to ask when I would pick up my order. I explained what had happened, and he informed me that they were short-staffed, with only one person in the kitchen and one at the counter. The absence of proper cooling made the shopping experience intolerable, especially during the hot summer months. The stifling heat, potential health risks, compromised product quality, and lack of professionalism exhibited by the management were major drawbacks. The value of comfort and well-being of the employees are comprised immensely. Electric fans were not even set up to alleviate the heat. I was woozy due to my BP during my visit. I hope management will correct this issue immediately.
I bought 5 packs of ube, cheese, and butter Mamon. And all of them have Molds! I only found out when we arrived here in Toronto which is 8 hours away. I purchased two bags of mamon and, unfortunately, when I got home, most of them had mold on them. We considered going back for a refund, but the hours indicated that they were closed. I've noticed that many of the low-star reviews also mention mold. This is a serious issue that needs to be addressed, especially since it's a health concern!
Hey I had this shaved ice drink and it had bolba type jelly thing and beans and some seed with shaved ice with ice cream and whatever else. Must say it was refreshing. It was my first time trying this and I must say I was pleased.
Their cakes and sweets are off the hook. Very sweet and just so many to try. Parking on the street can be an issue. Prices are very reasonable and this place can be very busy at peak times.
I picked up an order from this restaurant and found the place to be very clean. The staff were friendly and made sure to confirm our order.
