Of course, I read about the size of portions, and we prudently took one serving for two, but even they ate it for 3 days !!! It's good that it is possible to pack leftovers in a lunch box. But I saw that many simply threw not only half-eaten, but simply slightly bitten portions on the tables and left. I can imagine how much food is thrown into the trash there, and this at a time when there are homeless people sitting on every corner in LA! If the feature of this restaurant is the size of portion
The dining area is dark, and the dated decor doesn't help. The order process was ok, but from there it was all downhill. They didn't bring the food to my table as they do in other similar hamburger restaurants. The food prices are too high. The cheeseburger was tasteless; it had a thick slice of tomato, thicker than the meat, probably to make the burger appear big. The bun was old and falling apart in my hands. The fries are the worst I've had at a burger restaurant. I will not be returning.
Raised in this area and I had to come back to a treasured place. After 10+ yrs of not having it. Its still amazing! More importantly the restaurant is the same. Except they removed the 2 arcade games. But other than that everything is still the same. All the vintage pictures are still around the walls and the tables are exactly as i remember. Food is still great!

Jim's is the ultimate burger spot! Ever since I was a child, I have loved their amazing burgers and top-notch toppings. The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. I highly recommend it!
Jims has been my all time favorite But today I’m very disappointed with my chilaquiles. I made a phone order and ask the girl to make sure they don’t put extra sauce. And they put extra.
Fried chicken dinner is still very good. Cheese burger special is good as well. Excellent customer service. We had been going there for the last 30 years. Still good!

I love it. I grew up in Bell but have since moved to North Carolina, and I always come back to the best place - Jim's.
