Tortas Ahogadas Guadalajara

Love the tortas ahogadas from here they were really good and big portions. I ordered take out so I was given the sauce and chili separately and was able to soak the tortas to my liking and put as much chili as I wanted. I got the carnitas and it came withso much meat I was able to make some tacos on the side from the excess carnitas. I would definitely recommend giving them a trythey have a variety of items on the menu I had a hard time choosing but went with the classic torta ahogadas and definitely wassatisfied with my choice.

Delicious torta ahogada mixta wife had flautas plate. Says they are a step above. So tasty just like homemade. Real meat. Unlike other places. Not thin pre-frozen with make-believe meat Funny part was our friends horchata was served in what she thought was a Mayonnaise jar!!!! (see pic) other than that we loved our food. Asked our server when they moved from Santa Fe Gage. She had no idea. So worth the trip will def be back and try other dishes

If you are from Guadalajara or know about Tortas Ahogadas, or even if you are just curious. This place is a must eat! This is real Mexican food! Everything in here is amazing. I have been following them since they had a little stand, then a food truck,and finally their restaurant. So please do your self a favor, and try them out.

This restaurant serves very authentic Mexican food! The Tortas ahogadas are to die for. The spicier, the better. The crisp bite into the bread is just right to complement the juicy flavors. They also serve the best Micheladas in the city! I will definitely be back!

We absolutely adore the food at this restaurant, and my children love it just as much. The chips and salsa are always a hit, and the staff is incredibly friendly. We have been loyal customers since 2009.

The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. The Tortas Ahogadas were good, and the Tacos de Barbacoa were fantastic. I will definitely be coming back.

I really liked my torta ahogada de camaron , we also ordered Carne en su Jugo it was very tasty with hand made tortillas you can't go bad with that.

This is the best place for tacos de canasta torta. Great staff. Very friendly and attentive. I’m visiting from Houston and I definitely recommend.
