I 'm genuinely baffled as to how this place has managed to get any positive reviews. We had to order a take away due to Covid 19 restrictions and collected it rather than having it delivered. After waiting 45 minutes for the food (having been told 20 minutes) we got home and the food was still relatively warm. This was as good as it got. The single samosa was crusty and looked like it had already gone though the microwave a couple of times. The chicken madras was inedible. Absolutely no flavour, bland and tepid. However it complimented well with the onion bhaji which was equally nasty. The naan bread was only partially cooked so at least there was an attempt to maintain their exceptionally l...

We are down in Wolverhampton for a concert tomorrow and we were looking forward to a really good curry, sorry but very disappointed. The restaurant is rustic and you feel you will get a great genuine curry from times gone bye, sorry but not the case. I ordered prawn purée my wife chicken chat, both were very disappointing. My main of lamb rogan was very salty as was my wife’s chicken jalfrezi and the mushroom rice was nothing to write home about. We spoke to the lady on our departure to let her know, but she was too busy to speak to us before the damage was done. Very over rated restaurant and we can get much better back home in Scotland which is totally absurd!!

After this place was recommended to us we were really disappointed. 4 of us were crammed onto a table for 2, even though we booked. The food was bland and in places odd (peshwari naan was a plain naan with a few flakes of coconut and squirty strawberry sauce on top). I wouldn't go back. If you get an appropriately sized table I'm sure you'd have a better experience.

This restaurant is not the plushest of places but the service and food are honest. I have been coming here for years on a infrequent basis and they always remember us and our petal special dish. They are always open also when all others are closed!! Always good on a Friday or Saturday night out.

We were trying to find a pub for a drink, but due to the fact that we were Manchester United fans, all pubs were for Wolverhampton Wanderers fans only..! But Jivans came to the rescue. Nice pint and a chicken tikka masala all round... Just the job. Clean basic restaurant, with good staff.

Yet again.... another great meal at Jivan's. The service is excellent. The waitress is the same lady who was there when we visited in April. She is cheerful, genuine and made us feel so welcome. The food is magnificent. I can't praise it enough. Thank you

We used to use this restaurant often when living in Wolverhampton and now take the opportunity to eat here when back in the area. The meal did not disappoint, the naan breads are fabulous and all 3 meals were great -nothing left on the plates! Reserva una mesa ahora

I like different, and whilst I enjoy eating here I have noted that ironically there is a marked similarity in many of the dishes. Jivan 's is the Marmite of Indian restaurants but worth a visit although perhaps not for a special occasion .
