J&k's Seafood Shack

I 've gotten salmon and tuna a couple times to make sushi at home and I 'm no expert, but it seemed fresh, tasted good, and didn 't make us sick lol. It 's kind of a small seafood market with only those and a couple more kinds of fresh fish and shrimp, some brownies and other desserts, and to-go cold alcoholic beverages. They sell salmon skins for $1 as dog treats, too. And there 's a small food truck next to it that offers some seafood cooked up. I got the Shrimp Po 'Boy and it was really messy because the shrimp kept falling out but it was really good. Everyone was nice and friendly. The food was severely overcooked. We ordered grouper, cod, snapper, and fried shrimp, but the shrimp were so tough that we couldn't even eat them. They are offering free brownies for anyone who gives a 5-star review, but I would recommend skipping both the brownies and this restaurant. While the service was good, the food was disappointing.

a nice quiet place. they love the option to dine-in or take out. a nice set of sitting on the outside...it is covered by weather with a beautiful breeze fan. they order their food from the display they cook. the shrimp-tacos-chid-fish sandwich were very good. the personal was friendly. the cocktail pools To-Go...Blue lagune was a hit.

Used to love this place. Went recently and a sandwich was $20 one sandwich! The wait was 25 mins, and it wasn’t very good. Used to be seasoned well. This was a $20, bland, fishy smelling sandwich. Not sure if I’ll go back unfortunately. Reserva una mesa ahora

I purchased some raw sea scallops and steamed shrimp from the fish market section. Both were delicious, but the fresh sea scallops were absolutely fantastic!

Nice assortment of fresh fish. I normally get the fresh Red Grouper to take home and cook. They also have a great smoked fish spread that I highly recommend.

The place may not have much curb appeal, but the seafood is exceptional. The staff are incredibly friendly as well.
