J&k's Seafood Shack

We arrived at this restart at 6pm on the dot and the lady wouldn't let us order. She says the order has to be in by 6pm (not before). We could have easily ordered BY 6pm. We knew exactly what we wanted because we frequent this place. Their Google listing says they close at 7pm. They should change it to 6pm because they're functionally closed at 6pm. They've also raised the price of their fish sandwich by 66%. We will not be supporting this business anymore

I called ahead to order some steamed snow crabs, and while the place seemed nice, my experience was disappointing. When I got home and tried to eat them, they were way too salty, so I ended up throwing them away. That's $30 wasted! Coming from a Cajun family and having enjoyed these crabs my whole life, I believe the natural sweetness of the crab meat is what makes them delicious. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this restaurant.

We made a stop here on our way home from golfing. This spot serves as a seafood market, a place to grab drinks, and features a fantastic food truck. We ordered the shrimp tacos, which come three to an order. Depending on your appetite, they could easily be shared. They also have a strong takeout business. We left with a pound of extra-large shrimp and a refreshing lemon drop drink.

I visited this restaurant to purchase some fresh fish for grilling, and I picked up snapper, shrimp, and grouper. All three were absolutely delicious! Two days later, we returned to enjoy some freshly cooked food at the outdoor tables, and it was a fantastic experience. Don't let the small size of the place fool you — it’s truly wonderful! A nice quiet spot. Love the option to dine-in or take out. A nice setup of seating on the outside...its covered from the weather with a nice breeze fans. You order your food from the display they cook it. The shrimp tacos cod fish sandwich were very good. The staff was nice friendly. The Cocktail pouches To-Go...Blue Lagoon was a hit.

This fish shack has the best fish sandwiches around! Expensive but perfectly delicious! Their seafood is extremely fresh. The employees are friendly and helpful. They will give you hints on how to best to cook your seafood too!

The selection of fresh fish here is excellent. I usually buy the fresh Red Grouper to take home and cook. They also have a fantastic smoked fish spread that I highly recommend.
