Jm's Takeaway - Reserva de mesa

I visited today for lunch with my wife and mother in law. We all had fish and chips with peas. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff and the food was excellent both in terms of taste and quantity. The value for money was very good too. Definitely the best fish and chips we have eaten in a long time. All in all well worth the almost 100 mile round trip from Breedon on the Hill. Thank you. Rod Theaker

Ordered a delivery of Fish bites which were soggy pizza meal and doner kebab It was pizza and just doner meat No pitta salad or sauce which I asked for in the comments box..Rang to complain They said that's how it comes I checked the wording and it defo said doner kebab I rang them again and she just said I will pass it on. Definitely won't return! Stay clear if you want to enjoy your food!! Waste of £30.

Called in on the off chance on a Friday evening. Got a table and asked if they did fish and salad instead of chips for one of our party, which they were very happy to do. The fish was freshly cooked and of good quality and size. The salad was well presented and those of us who had chips thought they were great. Staff were helpful and polite.

We stayed in Retford overnight on our way north so that we could have fish and chips in this restaurant. The fish was large and delicious and the chips and peas were a good accomplement! There was a lot of choice but we came especially for Fish and Chips. John from Dorset Reserva una mesa ahora

We have eaten in the restaurant and ordered fish chips to take home. The fish is fresh, moist and cooked to order the restaurant is spotlessly clean and the takeout order is packed in strong boxes for transport. Best of all is the staff, always obliging and friendly.

All I ordered was 2 lots of chips and the wait was disappointing communication between staff not good the delivery driver tried his best to hurry the order along. Chips was cold and the curry sauce had to be rewarded in my microwave. Will not be back

Hungry on way back home from Sheffield, found on google. Delicious fresh food, no problem to do batter free fish. Service with a smile and very fast. Would recommend if you’re in the area or passing through

I’ve never had a bad takeaway before But tonight the cod was cold in the middle And the chips were freezing The owner wasn’t there a young man cooked it I’m so upset because it was always great in the past Reserva una mesa ahora

Popped in for dinner, had the mega haddock and chips plus curry sauce, bread and butter and a cup of tea, good value for money, good food and great staff

Absolutely fabulous fish and chips! I strongly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Lovely and clean and the service was excellent
