For Mother's Day, we surprised my mom with dinner. I called Jodeem in advance and was informed to call just the day before, but I ended up calling two days prior! I placed my order and picked it up on Mother's Day. We ordered stewed fish, stewed chicken, puff puff, spinach, plantain, and jollof rice. Everything was absolutely delicious! My mom even took the leftovers home and enjoyed them. This is definitely my go-to place for a quick meal when we don't feel like cooking! I've also tried the egusi soup and meat pies before, and they were fantastic as well.
This is by far some of the best food I have ever had in my entire life. I walked in just to check it out and the owner was super kind. He offered me a small cup sampling a few flavours and I was immediately blown away by the richness, depth and quality ofthe various flavours I was experiencing. I then asked if he could just make me a big tray full of a few things kind of like asampler platter and I?m very glad I asked for that. Honestly, this is some of the best food in the world. Highly, highlyrecommend a visit!!!
I ordered chicken jollof, spinach porridge, and puff puff for Thanksgiving, and I couldn't be happier! The customer service was outstanding! The food was perfectly seasoned—not too much, just right. The spinach was my favorite! It truly felt like I was back in the motherland. My Nigerian friend approved and was amazed that I found such authentic food! I will definitely be back! Thank you!
Once I got home, I settled in for a movie and dug in. The chicken and greens were tasty, but the Asaro was definitely the highlight! It was incredibly flavorful and satisfying. My only complaint is that I wish there had been more of the porridge itself; I could easily eat a whole bowl of it on its own! I will definitely be returning to Jodeem to explore more items on the menu.

I had a fantastic takeaway lunch experience! The food was outstanding, earning a solid 5 out of 5. Every dish was delicious and beautifully prepared. The service also impressed me – they were quick, friendly, and attentive, deserving another 5 out of 5. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and found it to be excellent value for the price, which ranged from $20 to $30 per person.
The food was tasty, but the service left something to be desired; the staff weren't very attentive or helpful. Additionally, the atmosphere of the restaurant felt quite unwelcoming, though I acknowledge that my perspective may be influenced by my background from a more affluent area.
The customer service was excellent, and there were no other customers in the restaurant at the time. I ordered jollof rice and chicken with spinach, but unfortunately, the food did not taste fresh; it had the texture and flavor of something that had been refrigerated.
