I took my friend to Joe's Crab Shack for the first time today. Our server, Nyisha, was very kind to our children and made my friend's experience wonderful. When my kids asked for a song and dance, she happily obliged. The staff at the front desk were also very sweet and engaging. The true highlight of our visit, however, was the outstanding customer service we received after we accidentally left behind a special cup belonging to my daughter, who has a rare genetic bleeding disorder and needs to carefully monitor her fluid intake. Came here for a spur of the moment night out. Our server Danny (Daniel) was absolutely amazing. He was up beat and happy. He constantly checked on us and made sure we had what we needed. Made our night to be served with such awesome customer service. The employees danced and he was the first one on the floor and was soooo in to the dance. It was extremely entertaining!! We had tons of questions about the menus and drinks. He patiently and quickly answered all our questions with a great personality and attitude. The food was amazing, as always, but this trip stood out due to Danny and his outstanding customer service!
5 out of 5 stars for sure!! This was my first time here. ???????????????????? We got seated immediately and a kind waitress instantly took care of us. I can absolutely recommend anyone to be seated on their beautiful porch in the back with a nice viewacross the river. It obviously gets hot in the afternoon which besides the waiting time in general would be another good reasonto visit early. The food was brought out to us on time. And each and every bite of it was super delicious and worth every dollarfor sure! I will be back. Thank you so much!
Definitely a 5-star experience! This was my first visit, and we were seated right away. Our friendly waitress took great care of us from the start. I highly recommend asking for a seat on the beautiful porch in the back, which offers a lovely view of the river. It does get warm in the afternoon, so coming earlier is a smart choice, along with avoiding wait times. Our food arrived promptly, and every bite was incredibly tasty and well worth it. Terrific time here yesterday, family time lunch get together. Had the shrimp platter (I put the bacon on the side) but it was very good. Had one of the crab buckets- and we all shared, the sausage, potatoes were yummy but the lobster didn’t taste as fresh and very rubbery with no taste. Virgin pina colada was wonderful!! Love the gift shop area- cute items!!! See you next time Joe’s !!!
What is worse than the food is the service. The hamburger bun was hard, food tasted disgusting, service was so slow, went to the bar to get our own drinks. It was also very warm inside, on this hot day, we were looking forward to cold ice water and nice airconditioning. Do not go here. The only nice thing is the view.
The food was good, but nothing that particularly excited me or made me want to savor it before going back for more. However, it was definitely better than Red Lobster. We ordered the sampler and the stuffed mushrooms as appetizers, and the shrimp and crab were our favorites.
I will not be returning to this restaurant. The cleanliness is lacking and the service is poor. The food is mediocre at best. It seems like this chain restaurant is inexperienced and amateurish.

This was my second visit to Joe's Kran Shack this year. I had lunch there in April while heading to Tahoe for a class reunion, and I decided to indulge in some seafood again during this visit!
This was my first time dining at Joe's Crab Shack, and I truly enjoyed the delicious food. I particularly appreciated the beautiful waterfront setting.
