Visited a couple of year's ago and discovered the revelation that is an oyster on hamburger! Hamburger was cooked to a true med-rare as ordered not overcooked like most places) and topped with a plump, flash-fried oyster very lightly battered) that pleasantly melted into the sandwich with my first bite. I remember those details bc since then I've debated coming back, not wanting to ruin that specifically delicious gastronomic memory. I broke down and risked it today while visiting SF, and remain very happy! Oyster was not as plump, but then not all oysters are created equal. Nice hint of horseradish in the aoli. It's more costly than I usually spend on a hamburger $18), but the meat is fresh...
Great breakfast, lunch and dinner location. There is an outside seating area with heaters and wind blocks that catches the morning sun. All the dishes seem very good. Have been there many times with consistent results. Serving staff very helpful and friendly. Do check out the desserts, good selection and quality.
The food was good to excellent. The service was good. The premises were clean and well maintained. The table we sat at was extremely close to the next so there was no privacy, but that did not appear to be the case with other sections of the restaurant. The menu had lots of variety. I would recommend.
Food was good, the potatoes were a little cold. My partner got the Eggs Benedict and it had a pretty strong lemon taste. Food rating was based on personal preferences. Service was great very friendly and very attentive.
