On 7/8/2023, we ordered (2) standard-sized slices of plain cheese pizza, (2) standard-sized slices of broccoli pizza, and (1) 16oz. bottle of cold Minute-Maid yellow lemonade. On a positive note, the pizza slices arrived fairly quick, and were extremely hot out of the oven. The pizza slices tasted quite good, and were on par as far as quality goes with other reputable pizzerias. Sadly, the down side of Joey Tomato 's was the ridiculously high pricing of $32.83 for such a small amount of food. According to their prices which are definitely not consumer friendly, even a plain cheese pizza pie by itself costs over $35.00, and forget about adding extra toppings which will really break the bank ....
We absolutely love visiting Joey Tomato's! It’s the perfect ending to our days at the Jersey Shore. No one can match the warmth and friendliness of their incredible staff. Aunt Doreen is simply the best! Every time we walk in, we feel like part of the family. The pizza is always spot-on, and we even make special trips during the off-season; when the boardwalk is chilly, a delicious hot slice is just what we need. Forget the others—Joey Tomato's is the best! Kid-friendliness: They even slice my kids' pizza before bringing it to the table. How thoughtful!
Not authentic pizza. Basic carnival pizza. $58 for 3 slices, 2 sodas, and a small salad that I had to throw out, because it had such a bad taste that I felt it could cause food poison . On top of that, they said that the bathroom was out of service , which means... we dont feel like cleaning it, so we say it 's out of order . Never going back again.
The owner and staff are very rude. They also handle cash and then make pizza without cleaning hands. The pizza is served cold. The place is filthy. Bathrooms have toilet paper all over floor. I will pass on this horrible establishment.

Price gouging at the fullest. Whole pie 1 specialty slice 1 large drink 2 medium drinks $78!!!! You should be ashamed of yourselves. I understand costs will be higher than usual but come on now.You should be ashamed of yourselves.
I came here and bought two slices of pizza was CHARGED and the owner told me to leave that they were closed and I never got my pizza he was so rude. Will never go back here ever again!!!
Food was very good. Prices were a little high but expected for the boardwalk. Definitely a good spot will be back again

Always like go in there. When I go to the beach great pizza staff is always friendly.
