Searched and found a local pizza spot on the way from JFK. Planned on getting a few slices but ended up getting a whole pie. It didnt take long at all. There were a few people cooking and seemed like a lot of volume. Everything smelled delicious and wouldhave loved to try more. Pizza was very good, especially the crust. The sauce was good but wasnt my favorite. Had a Long Islandbias that i cant explain, coming from a Brooklyn boy. Meatballs were good too.
The food is pretty good for the price. The pizza is also good for the price. They have these frozen pasta dinner that are ok. The dinners used to be really tasty and had plenty of meat and cheese. Now the dinners taste bland, and you call see and taste how they cut back/skimmy on the ingredients.I get that the environment has changed, and take has taken over. It's not the sit-down, friendly place anymore, and it's really dark in side.
In the age of inflation, Joey's is an outlier that tries its best to keep pizza affordable. Prices have increased but not so much, especially when considering how low they started before the pandemic.Their frozen food entrees are great to try and make for an easy meal for my kids to heat up themselves.But an especially big thank you for helping me to feed the masses of students at my school events. They love Joey's, and so do I. :
I would just like to say the prices are really great. I ordered their meatball sub, which was very tasty, and would recommend the atmosphere was good. Everyone was really nice if you're looking for a new place to eat. Try this place out it won't disappoint Reserva una mesa ahora
I had the chicken parm with penny that red stuff that they had in their tastes like a tomato paste no spices in the sauce it was disgusting it tasted like a number 5 can of tomato paste no spices know nothing I will never ever go there
This was the best Grandma's pizza I have tasted in a while! Everything was so fresh and included garlic...Parmigiano cheese as requested. I will highly recommend Joey's.Rockville Centre Inn/Sunrise Inn
This place is incredibly popular, and it was my first time visiting. There were lines out the door because the food is just THAT GOOD!
