In the last few weeks I was a guest at the romantic hotel at two celebrations! Whether in a small or large celebration I could not feel as a guest, the process was always the same chaotic and disappointing! First visit: Three weeks before dinner a long table was desired. When we arrived, we were told that would not go and we had five tables. At the appetizer there were changes because it didn't work?? The modified soup was made very narrow by taste, but by size and content. Nearly 20 people went 15 minutes until everyone had the main course, then this was not as good as on the map, just missing supplements. The supplements then came in the next half hour, too small and the vegetables too sof...
Das Ambiente ist nett. Romantisch wie der Name vermuten lässt. Wir durften uns aussuchen, in welchem der verschieden eingerichteten Räume wir sitzen möchten. Das freundliche Servicepersonal hat uns ausnahmslos frische, leckere und gut präsentierte Speisen serviert. Schön, wenn man ein so "normales" Gericht wie ein Wiener Kalbsschnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat in einer so ausgezeichneten Qualität bekommt. Besonders hervorzuheben war meine Vorspeise: der Spargelsalat mit Morcheln (in meinem Fall ohne Taube) war wirklich unglaublich lecker. Der Wein war regional und gut. Sicher nicht unser letzter Besuch im Johanniter-Kreuz.
This restaurant is highly recommended my tripadvisor visitors, and since there are not too many "good" restaurants in the area, I booked a dinner for two. The place is away from Uberlingen(need to stay and visit at the end of a tour of the black forest, located on the shore of lake Konstanz between Germany and Swisserland).The chef was probably in a serious romantic mood, my dish was very salty and side orders tasted flat. For a small side green salad the charge was 7.5Euro...service was very good and friendly. After sending the chef for few cooking classes,it might be more excited to dine in the restaurant...
Waren zum 3. Mal in diesem Hotel.Alles war wieder super.Restaurant mit tollen Angebot,überhaupt kein Grund zur Kritik.Frühstück mit großer Auswahl,frischer Kaffee, Frühstückseier in allen Variationen werden frisch zubereitetMitarbeiter waren wieder sehr freundlich, aber nicht aufdringlich.Zimmer war sehr sauber und ordentlich,geräumig.Einzig der Fitness-Bereich ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Geräte quietschen, sind zum Teil laut,Desinfektionsmittel zum Abreinigen fehlt.Der sehr gute Gesamteindruck vom Hotel wird hierdurch allerdings nicht reduziert.

Zwar hatten wir gegen Aufpreis eines der teuren Zimmer im Neubau gebucht, konnten uns bei der Ankunft aber noch frei entscheiden und haben dann eines der "günstigeren" Zimmer im Stammhaus genommen. Zwar nicht so stylisch, aber dennoch sehr sehr geräumig und mit sehr großem, neu renovierten Bad. Das Essen im Restaurant war lecker, das Frühstück ein Traum. Alles frisch, incl. Prosecco. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und bemüht uns jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen.Auf alle Fälle eine Empfehlung

Sehr abwechslungsreiche Küche, die Menüs werden mit viel Liebe und Fantasie zusammengestellt. Jeder Besuch ist ein Fest für den Gaumen.Sehr aufmerksamer Service, Inhaber ist hervorragender Koch und sehr guter Gastgeber. Auch das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen, sehr ruhige und erholsame Lage, man sollte aber Zimmer in dem geschmackvollen Neubau wählen.
This hotel is perfect for short breaks and long stays. The staff, very accommodating, as well as the cleaning staff are very friendly. The restaurant is highly recommended for the first time. I like to come back Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Romantic, Quiet, Great value
