Johnny Black's Public House

I was here with my adult son. We liked it so much that we came back. The little bites are really good. You have a great variety and you can really not go wrong with anything you order. Have the steak bites, cheese sticks, pork sticks tried, and everything was really good! As for their dinners, the drunk fish chips are my favorites. Also the macaroni and cheese is really good!! The only thing I wasn't happy was the size of her strawberry margarita. It was a little expensive! Besides, the food was good, the service was exceptional. I will return in the near future!

The quality of this place continues to go back as the owners continue to expand. Feels like this place gets the short end of the stick. Food is meh, service is terrible, and their cocktails are loaded with mixers and syrup. We will sometimes come for a beer as we live nearby, and as a woman I hate the use of the bathrooms. Run down, trash always overflowing, and just kind of rough overall.

Was looking for a more private house, but a public one will do. I agree, Jasmine is the greatest server on planet earth. As long as she is employed here we are coming back. She must have psychic powers, didn't even have to order, food magically appeared. Drinks? it's like she has a genie or something, they were spot on! No flying carpets though. But it's a whole new world at Johnny Blacks!

I love these JB on Auburn rd they have the best spicy margaritas in the city also their appetizers are amazing i usually order 2-3 appetizers without main dish and it is a lot of food their steak bits are the best also definitely try the Brussel spies Amaziiiing.

Our first time in the public house in Rochester. We had a party of 10 in the early afternoon. We were (together) overly impressed. Very attentive staff member. Excellent food. Great atmosphere. Very reasonable prices. We'll be back soon.
