Johnny Black's Public House

My wife and I were in Sterling heights and found that we were hungry. We did a quick search for local restaurants and found Johnny Black's Public House was nearby. The name alone caused us to come and check out the place. We found the interior to be pleasing, stylish yet modern in a way. The menu is large and they had a separate menu for the day's specials and another menu with cocktails and draught beer. For an appetizer, we had the Brussels sprouts which were fantastic! I had the chicken piccata for an entree. Their preparation is a departure from the classic because it has tomatoes and potatoes. The menu wasn't clear but the potatoes were a mashed potato that went very well with the dish!...

We had a Gender Reveal party at the Sterling Hts location today (3/12/22 . It was awesome! From my initial contact speaking to Russell the manager (night manager? , then working with Carmen for the in house catering and our waitress, Alyssa, it couldn’t have been an easier or smoother process. This is my second experience with them handling a group of 20-30 (first was Oct 2020 for the after funeral for my dad . I have nothing but good things to say. Staff, food, whole experience was excellent! Thank you Johnny Blacks for a great experience!! BTW…it’s a girl

I recently celebrated my birthday here and the food and service was amazing! Kate, our waitress, was super attentive. She recommend popular items off the menu, checked up on us throughout the night, and went above and beyond to make the night special. She was very sweet and was on top of everything. I would definitely come back and ask for Kate!

The waitress was very attentive making sure my friend and I had any and everything we needed or wanted. This was my first visit and I'll be back for sure. My drink was the punch, I loved it. I ordered the calamari and brussel sprout salad. Let me tell you I was more than pleased. The laid back atmosphere was an absolute plus. Reserva una mesa ahora

We went here for brunch and it was delicious! The weather was nice so we were able to sit outside. It was a clean. The service was good, our waitress was knowledgeable about the drinks and food menus. Food came out quick. Food was delicious. Drinks were mixed awesome. Definitely will return to try the dinner menu.

I come here often. The whole staff is amazing! Never once I've I ever had an issue. The food is delicious This was my first time ordering a steak from there and it was cooked perfectly. There brunch menu is delicious as well as the drinks! This is my favorite spot in the area.

Tonight i had one amazing waitress. Her name is Stella. Her great service matched the good, hot lovely prepared food strong enough drinks!!! Im happy see the pics. Im impressed

Food was delicious, portions were good and flavor was awesome! Zip sauce for steak really good! Had a nice evening with my two kids.
