Johnny's Italian Steakhouse Thornton

We have been here several times and usually had a good experience. We recently went and had a less than stellar experience to where we both decided we don’t need to go back anytime soon. The cost seems to have gotten as pricey as other steakhouses in the suburbs—we have often opted to go to Johnny’s on account of it being a little more reasonable (we paid $58 for 10 oz filet, so it seems a little higher than in the last). The bread and butter had almost no flavor and the sauce in the steak seemed like it could have come from a jar. The food was good, we had to send back one dish but besides that it was great. Our server wasn’t very attentive to us and it took a while to receive anything we ordered unfortunately, But the staff were very nice and accommodating. Over all a good experience but not fantastic. We’ll definitely come back for their dinner service and hope for a better experience:

Just an average experience last night. Slow service caused us to miss Happy Hour specials. Steak was mediocre as was vegetable side. Artichoke spinach dip was drab. Expensive cocktails. I expected more from a Steakhouse. Regrettably we won’t be returning as it is close by.

The Seafood Pomodoro was good but the Lasagna was like a bowl of chopped meat with one little noodle.I’ve not seen lasagna look like this.Interesting twist but not great tasting.. Reserva una mesa ahora

Good value for the food quality and service. Was a bit lax on our gluten free requests. We are repeat customers and will continue to visit.

Our 30th wedding anniversary, Johnny's seemed the perfect place for a wonderful steak dinner.
