The Grandma Pie I ordered was completely different from any I've tried before. It didn't taste good at all, and I could hardly tell if there was any cheese on it. The sauce was missing the usual sweetness that a Grandma Pie typically has, making it feel more like a flatbread with a thin layer of sauce and cheese instead of a real pizza.
To make matters worse, I had a frustrating experience with the delivery. The driver didn’t knock when they arrived; they just opened my door, which startled me, my housemates, and even my dog. Overall, I was really let down by this order, especially given that it cost around $50.
We order from Johnny's Pizza Boss at least twice a month because we love it. Their pizza is the closest thing to authentic NYC style you can find. The sauce is so delicious that I always ask for extra to use in my cooking. My kids can't get enough of this place! We've never had a bad meal, and the staff is always incredibly friendly. Highly recommend!
Customer service is really good. We started going here about two years ago. The food was delicious. Now it's just ok. Don't know if new owners, cooks or what. I'm a vegetarian who loves potato and egg heroes. They had one of the best I ever tasted. Now,it's so so. The pasta with broccoli and garlic was also delicious, but now it's just ok
This restaurant is certainly impressive, but I wouldn't call it the best on Long Island. They seem to be heavily promoting their gourmet food, but I don't quite see the appeal. The local community seems to prefer a more casual pizza place for some reason—perhaps it's the ambiance or the decor, but I'm not entirely certain.

I went to pizza boss for the first time like 4 months ago, and ever since then if I want pizza and I'm in the area, this is where I come. I'm alittle upset that I haven't always been going to them, they have really good pizza. The price is pretty good also, 14 dollars for a large pie.
I ordered a large plain pizza online, but when I got there, they hadn't started making it yet. The staff member was on the phone the whole time. When I finally got my pizza, it was awful—covered in cheese with no sauce at all. I won’t be coming back.
As soon as I arrived in New York, I had to try some pizza, and Johnny's had great ratings on Grubhub. The garlic knots were excellent, and the customer service was outstanding.
