I’ve written more than one review here, probably with multiple emails, or maybe the same one. Who knows. Going on a tour de Bergen County with reviews since I no longer live in the area, and have come to find how incredibly spoiled us Bergen County folks are for the food we have access to. This place is one of them. I’ve never had pizza this good inside or outside of Bergen County. Miss this place a lot, even the lovely owners, and I stop in every trip back to get a slice that I eat straight away—because it’s the only way. Gonna have to plan another trip. Perfecto pizza. Probably can only get better in literal Italy.
The best pizza in NJ and dare I say the NYC area. Always fresh and delicious; incredible crust. I used to body a plain, buffalo chicken, and penne slice combo. Most importantly Umberto and Patrizia are the kindest, warmest people in the world. I have many fond childhood memories of visiting John's Boys with my family and make a point to go there whenever I'm back in the area. I also treasure my red green John's Boys shirt!!
Do you like perfectly crispy, flakey crust? Then you NEED to try out John’s Boy pizza! I tried the buffalo Stromboli and it was the BEST I have ever had hands down ?? scrumptious, and buffalo? You think burn your mouth off spice. Not this time. Flavorful with a dash of heat. the calzones are huge and flavor packed too! Check them out you won’t be disappointed ? Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options!
I cannot recommend John’s Boy Pizza highly enough! The pizza was among the best I've had in a long time, and the approximately 30 people with me all felt the same way. We tried the plain cheese, peppers and onions, pepperoni, and sausage, and they were all fantastic. Additionally, Umberto and his wait staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. Thank you for making our experience so enjoyable!

The pizza was decent, but the toppings were unevenly distributed, and the crust struggled to hold them up. The salads could benefit from a bit more dressing. The flavor of the pizza and the cheese were good, though. The service was very friendly. It was a bit disappointing that they only accept cash. Overall, it was an adequate experience.
I came into John's Boy Pizzeria in the late afternoon and ordered a plain cheese slice. It was okay but it tasted like warmed over pizza that had been some time earlier. The slice was not as fresh as it could have been. I will have to try it again in the future to get a better judgement on the pizza.
I have traveled the world, and never found an eggplant parm as good as the one at John’s Boy. There’s no comparison, and it’s just as delicious as it was 20 years ago. Everyone who works there is so friendly too. Such a good pizza joint overall. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in NJ.
There should be 5 million 5 star reviews. Simply the best pizza (New York style pizza) and the best people. I have been going here practically my entire life.

Finally found a great pizza joint! I’m from Brooklyn and I know a good pizza-thisnisnpretty close to city pizza! Thanks guys for being so wonderful!
The food is excellent! I really enjoy their catering service. It's so easy to place an order, and they always deliver on time!
