I must start this review with WOW, we booked a table here (booking recommended) for no particular reason, just stumbled across it. This has to be the best culinary experience we have had, for a long time. The food was superb, as well as being delicious. It was also presented with an artistic flare. But more importantly, the staff made this restaurant. Very friendly and interactive with the customers. Wish we were in Val Thorens for longer, as we would love to go there again.
Wonderful evening at the Scandinavian Brasserie and Winebar. Emma, the manager, was a superb hostess, supported by Saga. Great sense of humour and attention to detail. The main chef was off duty while we were there, but the sous chef was excellent. Cod dish was delicious, mussels were huge, steak was perfectly cooked. If you are visiting Val Thorens this is the place to go. A brilliant balance of atmosphere, services, excellent food and fun.
the best I had in val thorens by far. the meerrot kabeljau with kartoffeln (I had replaced the speck with half-dried tomatoes) was so delicious I have every mouthful taste. so was the filet of bark that came with an amazing Petersip money. the apple crumb was also very delicious. we had great nights in this cozy candle restaurant. the same price level as other restaurants we visited in val thorens, but the quality here was so much better.
This restaurant was a refreshing change from the usual regional fare how many fondues or raclettes can you eat?? Kevin is the conductor extraordinaire in warmly greeting guests and creating the apres ski buzz. We started with the Swedish herring dish, followed by a fantastic cod dish. I was here with my mate after a long day of skiing. We didn’t make a reservation but that wasn’t a problem. I had the cod, and my mate had the medium rare steak. They were both perfectly made, and put together. 5/5 would recommend!
it is a beautiful restaurant. but some details can be improved. menus fall apart. wein Menu has no data and is not super well balanced. but the entire staff is fun and beautiful and I enjoyed the dishes very much.
Delicious food, excellent service and great drinks. I had the lamb shank which was very filling and scrumptious! The wine is great quality for the price and the cocktails are amazing! Tak!!
