The Food was good, I can’t take that away HOWEVER I ordered rabo and their portion its $15. I was good with the price since I know rabo its not cheap. When I checked the receipt (see the picture) I saw they charged $5 fee for “Open food” I thought it was a mistake charge, when I asked one of the ladies explained that the charge for open food its when you order something from the menu and not from the food that its already prepared. SO BE AWARE, IF YOU ORDER ANYTHING FROM THE MENU, YOU WILL BE CHARGED SOME NONSENSE $5 in addition to the price of the food. I've been coming and supporting this spot for 13 years, I moved to ridgewood back in 2010. I woke up feeling sick to my stomach. After checking the reviews on Google, I saw that someone had found maggots in their beans. Unfortunately, I also found maggots in the beans I received from Jorge's menu.
The Best Spanish Dominican all Latin America food in Ridgewood/Bushwick neighborhood. My favorite order is Family Special #7: Large Rice, Beans, Salad, Grill Chicken Fillets (alot), One liter of any Soda.

I used to order from here because they always provided enough food to feed my family of five. However, I've noticed that their portions have recently become smaller, so now I order from Estrella instead.
The portions are large, the food is piping hot, the music is amazing, and the staff is outstanding! I would definitely recommend Jorge's and share it with my friends!
