Joseph Ambler Inn Pub

So I have stayed here for about 3 days and I am here for another week. Reviews were great so when booking for work I decided to go ahead. The grounds are beautiful but there are some things that need fixing or attention. There is unfortunately no housekeeping during the stay due to Covid which is long passed, there are events that create such noise in the same house as other guest rooms it is nearly impossible to sleep, requests made take a good 3 calls/discussions with the desk to be resolved and there have been a multitude of bugs found in my room (not bed bugs). This was a charming inn. They offered rental houses for entire parties, as well as rooms in shared houses. We attended a wedding there and coincidentally had three other weddings happening that same weekend. The walls were quite thin, so you could hear everything going on around you. For instance, I was on a work call in my room and worried that my voice might disturb others. However, breakfast was fantastic and pleasantly surprised me with its variety. We visited in the fall, and the weather was perfect, with beautiful scenery of trees and deer in the fields. The staff at the inn were very kind and accommodating. Step back to colonial Buck's County at the Joseph Ambler Inn. An event destination, as well as a bed and breakfast, the Inn houses a bar and restaurant in the original, rennovated stone banked barn. We'll suited to large groups due to their event hosting pedigree, the restaurant at the Inn is the place to bring a large party to celebrate your special occasions. I often bring my parents here for lunch, and we always have a wonderful time. The only reason I didn't rate the service a perfect score is that, at times, the restaurant service seems to be overshadowed by the service for events. It's understandable that event service takes precedence, and since the food is fantastic, it has never really been a problem for us. I highly recommend this place! The property’s was decent but a bit dated. Room was a too warm for me. Pilot light was lit on the furnace in the middle of summer. The location was good. I loved the view and the little patio outlooking the meadow with a few numbers of wildlife. It was quiet for the most part. Rooms: 4 Service: 3 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Great view

We went to their restaurant to use a gift card we were gifted. Food drinks: Food was pretty good. I ordered the filet for dinner and I felt like the blue cheese topping they put on it over powered the flavor of the steak... it didn't really need all that. Service: 4 Location: 4

we reserved a room in the restaurant for a 90th birthday party. It was lovely and private and the service staff was fantastic. The fillet is the best. Service: 5 Location: 5
