On arrival we were warmly greeted and seated straight away. Our drinks order was taken and these arrived quickly, we were also able to order poppadoms and pickles whilst deciding on what to eat. If I was to have one slight issue, and this is a common problem with many restaurants, it would be that the soft drinks range should be just as extensive as the alcohol range etc. and of similar size ranges, not just tiny little bottles. As our group had not met up for some considerable time we did take quite a while before placing our main food order, but this was not a problem for the staff as they were available when we required them but they remained in the background and were not pushy or overbe...
This place was recommended to us on a recent visit to Clifton when we visited Bristol. We were not disappointed! Delicious food from a wide ranging menu, we did have to ask one of the waiters for a suggestion and they were most helpful the chicken Hunza, a very different but tasty dish!. We will definitely be back!
Very rude delivery man. He wouldn't get out of his car to buzz in the flat. After a missed call, I walked outside within 2 mins, and he was very rude. It used to be one of my favourite Indian places in town, but this ruined it for me.
First time I have used Joy Raj. I ordered 2 medium curries there was very little spice in either defo mild curry so on that basis I wouldn't order again!

What a little gem this place is, the food was delicious and big portions and the staff were friendly and helpful, will definitely be going back there
Good service, great portion sizes, perfect onion bhaji with yummy yoghurt sauce. Great flaviurs all round, with right amount of spice. All good.
Food was lovely. Unfortunately Just eat let them down by not picking up the order for over 2 hours.
