J.r. 's Fresh Cut French Fries

The food here is really good. Plenty of local favorites on the menu, but THE best thing about J.R. 's are the genuinely friendly folks that work there. It 's always a positive experience and although I go into the market thinking I 'm going to try something new, I end up at J.R. 's because I 'm happy to give them my support. Most recently I had the fried oyster sandwich with perfect fresh cut fries of course. Delicious as always.

I enjoy having lunch here on market days. The staff is welcoming, and the food is always excellent. Their Chicken Tenders are a safe choice, and I suggest ordering the Chicken Pot Pie to take home and heat up for dinner. I usually request the fries to be cooked well-done to ensure they’re extra crispy, and they always come out fresh and tasty. If you're looking for a fulfilling meal, you can't go wrong at this place.

This is the epitome of what a farmer's market food stand should be. Great food and extremely friendly staff. They have a big menu to select from, or an easy card system if you just want to get an order of fries and go. Always very impressed with how clean the stand is given how difficult it can be to work with grills and friers.

One of the standout stalls at York's Central Market. The fries are consistently delicious, and everything else I've tried on the menu has been fantastic as well. Inside on Central Market in York you will find this gem. Good, hearty simple foods like chili, burgers and fries, and some fun foid too like fried pickles and homemade fudge! And its all served with a friendly smile!

JR's Fries is my favorite spot in the market. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious! You've got to try the fudge—it's amazing. I really love this place!
